Holly Willowbrook
The picturesque village of Greenvale lies between the northern California coast and the majestic redwoods. It’s a romantic tourist destination, renowned for its quaint shops, perfectly preserved Victorian mansions, and farm-to-table restaurants.
For decades, the rocky shoreline, daily fog, and historic cemetery have provided a moody backdrop for filmmakers. Each year, movie fans descend on the town during Fang Fest, a week-long celebration of things that go bump in the night.
On the 45th anniversary of the cult classic Vampires in the Fog, Greenvale is besieged by cosplayers with plastic fangs and rubber stakes. They’ve come for a chance to see their favorite B-movie stars and horror podcasters, and take selfies where iconic scenes were filmed.
The Ravenwood witches, Fortuna and her great-aunt Celestia, are attending the opening night festivities when a polarizing celebrity drops dead on stage. The shocking event quickly turns into a murder investigation and the Ravenwoods join forces with an offbeat crew of locals—some human, some not—to unravel the mystery before Greenvale’s spooky celebration turns into a real-life horror show.

HOLLY WILLOWBROOK
Holly Willowbrook is drawn to magical places. She’s lived in a geodesic dome home in the Sierra Nevada foothills and a 140-year-old folk Victorian on the California coast. The historic towns and breathtaking natural beauty of the Lost Coast area of northern California were the inspiration for the fictional town of Greenvale.
Holly currently resides in the driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. It’s a place that the ice age glaciers missed, leaving a magical landscape of winding rivers, green coulees, craggy bluffs, and lush forests.
Holly has been writing professionally for more than 25 years. She’s worked as a newspaper feature writer and humor columnist, a magazine writer and editor, commercial scriptwriter, and a marketing copywriter.
Her love for all things mystical led her to pick up her first tarot deck in her teens. She provides free tarot learning resources on her website wayfindertarot.com
